I have heard that homeschooling and entrepreneurship are like two peas in a pod. If you are going to take charge of your childrens' education, you may just be the type of person to take charge of your own career as well. Furthermore, just as homeschooling frees a family in their time and activities together, so may entrepreneurship. For a homeschooling mother, starting her own business and working from home may also be an answer to her family's need for increased income.
For a long time now I have wanted to work from home. Yet I have four young children, two of whom I am homeschooling. This season in my life is precious, but at the same time probably the most difficult one I'll ever have. If I were to work at home, my business would have to utilize my talents and interests, so as not to add undue stress to my already full schedule. My question, though, has been what? What can I do?
I have not received much in the way of answers yet, but I know God will reveal His will for me in this area when it is time. I am currently researching a book that I feel led to write, and have pondered getting paid to write now, which is something that I need to look into.
I recently found the following websites which I am hoping will be tools to help me reach my goal for generating income from home. Perhaps they will help you also.
